בֵּיעָא, בֵּיעָה, בֵּיעֲתָא, בֵּעֲתָאf. ch. (= h. בֵּיצָה; בוע) egg. Targ. Job 6:6; a. fr.Y.Ned.III, 38a top (Y.Shebu.III, 34d bot. סגין, corr. acc.) כגון ב׳ ומרגליתא as e. g. one swearing of an egg that it was a pearl (as an instance of שבועת שקר).
